Welcome to Garndish. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Garndish website and services.
By creating an account or using Garndish, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Garndish.
About Garndish
Garndish is operated by Julian Teofilov, an individual based in Bulgaria.
Garndish is a platform for discovering, creating, saving, and sharing recipes and related content.
Your Account
Some Garndish features require an account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information when creating your account.
- Keeping your account credentials secure.
- All activity carried out through your account.
- Not sharing access to your account with other people.
You may sign in using supported third-party authentication providers, such as Google. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
You may delete your account at any time through the available account settings or by contacting us.
User Content
Garndish allows users to create recipes, upload images, and submit other content ("User Content").
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload.
By submitting User Content to Garndish, you grant Garndish a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and provide the Garndish service.
This license does not transfer ownership of your content to Garndish.
You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the necessary rights and permissions to use and upload it.
You must not upload content that:
- Infringes another person's intellectual property or other rights.
- Contains personal information about another person without appropriate permission.
- Is illegal, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, or harmful.
- Contains malicious code or attempts to compromise Garndish or its users.
- Otherwise violates applicable laws.
Recipes and other User Content may be publicly visible to other Garndish users and visitors.
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or the proper operation of Garndish.
We may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of serious or repeated violations, abuse of the service, fraud, or activity that may harm Garndish or its users.
We are not obligated to monitor all User Content.
Recipe Information and Safety
Garndish contains recipes and cooking information submitted by users and other content sources.
Garndish does not guarantee that recipes are accurate, complete, tested, safe, or suitable for every person or situation.
Cooking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to burns, cuts, fires, foodborne illness, allergic reactions, and other injuries.
You are responsible for using your own judgment when preparing food and for checking ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures, preparation methods, and food-safety requirements.
If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or other health concerns, consult an appropriate professional and independently verify that recipes and ingredients are suitable for you.
Garndish should not be relied upon as medical, nutritional, or professional advice.
Intellectual Property
The Garndish website, including its software, design, branding, logos, and original content provided by Garndish, is owned by or licensed to Garndish unless otherwise stated.
You may use Garndish for its intended purpose, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit Garndish or its proprietary components without permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
User Content remains subject to the ownership and license terms described in these Terms.
Third-Party Services
Garndish relies on third-party services to provide certain functionality, including hosting, authentication, email, analytics, database services, and image storage.
Third-party services may become unavailable or change their functionality independently of Garndish.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Garndish available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict parts of Garndish at any time.
We may also add, remove, or change features as Garndish develops.
Disclaimer
Garndish is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, or suitability of Garndish or its content.
This includes User Content, recipes, nutritional information, cooking times, ingredient information, and other information available through the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Julian Teofilov and Garndish shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of Garndish.
This includes, without limitation, damages arising from reliance on recipes or other content, loss of data, interruption of service, or inability to use Garndish.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your User Content, including claims that your User Content infringes another person's rights.
Account Termination
You may stop using Garndish and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Garndish if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, engage in fraudulent or harmful activity, or where termination is reasonably necessary to protect Garndish or its users.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice before terminating an account.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue to apply after termination will remain in effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
Your continued use of Garndish after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights or protections you may have under the laws applicable to you, including applicable consumer protection and data protection laws.
